How to target returning customers with a specific survey

Please note:

This feature is only available when displaying surveys on the Thank You and Order Status Page of your online store! (Does not apply to Shopify POS)

How do I set this up?

To display a survey specifically for returning customers, start by creating a new survey or select an existing survey and then go into the survey editor.

Select the Returning Customers checkbox within the Manage Visibility section to the right-hand side of the survey editor.

If you already have a survey published on your order status / thank you page, then a message will appear similar to the following:

This means that if the customer is a returning customer, then 2 surveys will appear on the thank you /order status page. One that All Customers will see and another one that will appear only for Returning Customers.

Don't forget to save your survey and make sure you have added your survey to the Thank You and Order Status pages within the checkout editor.

That's it!

Returning customers will now receive this survey after they checkout on your online store.
