If you're not sure what kind of survey to create, the setup assistant is here to help. It's a friendly chatbot built right into the app that walks you through a few quick questions about your goals and then recommends the best survey template for your store.
How it works
Click the Create survey button on your Grapevine Surveys dashboard.
Select Use the setup assistant option from the dropdown.
You'll be greeted by the setup assistant, which will ask you a series of questions starting with: "What's your main goal?"
Choose from the options presented, just click the one that best describes what you're looking to achieve:
Understand where customers come from - ideal if you want to learn which marketing channels are driving sales.
Improve the checkout or shopping experience - great for identifying friction points in your buying journey.
Measure customer loyalty and satisfaction - perfect for tracking NPS, CSAT, and overall brand sentiment.
Recover lost or abandoned sales - best if you want to find out why shoppers didn't complete their purchase.
Based on your answers, the assistant will recommend a survey template and guide you through loading it into the editor.
What happens next?
Once the assistant recommends a template, you can load it straight into the survey editor, just like selecting one from the template library. All the questions, answer options, and channel settings will be pre-filled and ready for you to review.
From there, you're free to make any changes you need. Add or remove questions, tweak the wording, adjust your channels, it's completely flexible. When you're happy, give the survey a title and save it to go live.
