This guide covers how to generate a Klaviyo Private API Key, which will be required when enabling our Grapevine Surveys integration with Klaviyo.

Within Klaviyo, click on your profile and select the Settings option:

Select the API Keys option from under the Account section:

On the API Keys page, click the Create Private API key button.

A new page of options will appear. Give your new Private API Key a name. Use a name that will remind you of what the key relates to, such as "Grapevine Surveys app integration":

Select a Custom Key providing (Full Access) for both the Events and Profiles scopes:

Click the Create button.

You will then see a confirmation message that your Private API Key has been created along with the options to either Copy Key or Download (as text):

Click the Copy Key icon.
