When changing your storefront theme, there are a number of factors to consider to ensure that Grapevine Surveys continues appear correctly in your store. Let's take a look at some of those factors.
Order Status Page / Thank You Page
App block compatible post-purchase pages
If you have migrated your online store to use Shopify's latest app block compatible post-purchase pages and have added the Grapevine Surveys checkout extension app block to those pages, then your surveys will be unaffected by any theme changes that you make.
ScriptTag
If you've not yet upgraded your online store's post-purchase pages and have published surveys to your Order Status Page, then your survey is being delivered via our apps SciptTag.
These surveys will be unaffected by any theme changes that you make, however, if you have added any custom styling to your order status page surveys, then you may need to revisit that custom CSS and tweak it accordingly to match your new theme.
On-site / Standalone surveys
If you have published any surveys as standalone surveys, then these will continue to work without issues with your new theme, however, you may want to review each of them to make sure that their appearance is in line with your new theme.
If you have added CSS within the Grapevine Surveys app to change the layout or styling of your on-site surveys, then you may need to revisit the custom CSS for each survey and tweak it accordingly.

Embedded surveys
Similar to the on-site/standalone survey, if you have embedded any surveys within your store's pages, then you may want to review each page to make sure that the appearance is in line with your new theme.
If you have added CSS within the Grapevine Surveys app to change the layout or styling of your embedded survey, then you may need to revisit the custom CSS for each survey and tweak it accordingly.

Survey submission issues
If you notice any drop-off in survey submissions after launching your new theme, then please do get in touch with us and we will investigate further to make sure that you get right back on track.
