Please note:
This feature is only applicable to online store post-purchase pages!

How does it work?

Displaying two surveys on your post-purchase pages requires one survey to be enabled for All Customers and another survey to be enabled for either New Customers or Returning Customers (or both).

Let's take a look at the options for managing survey visibility to explain this further.

Within the Manage Visibility settings of the survey editor, there are three available options for enabling a survey on the Order Status Page:

By enabling a survey for All Customers, that survey will be displayed to every customer that lands on your Order Status Page:

Now edit a second survey, e.g. one that you have created for returning customers - and view the Manage Visibility settings for that survey. Now select the Retuning Customers checkbox:

The message will confirm that your Returning customer survey will be shown alongside the already enabled survey on the Order Status Page.

The same message would appear if enabling the second survey to appear to New Customers only:

Don't forget to save your survey and make sure you have added your survey to the Thank You and Order Status pages within the checkout editor.

You will then see that two surveys will appear on the Order Status Page. This example shows the surveys for Returning customers and All Customers:

Why would I want to do this?

You may wish to ask a general question to all customers regardless of whether or not they are a new or returning customer, e.g. How did you hear about us? The second survey question will be more specific to the customers prior relationship with your store, which allows you to ask a more specific question.

The example below shows 3 surveys that have been enabled on each of the available Order Status Page options:
